Item Description
2.5x3.5". The 1966 Topps Baseball set consists of 598 cards. Each card front features a color likeness of the athlete, with a diagonal banner at the upper left corner containing the team name and a panel at the bottom border displaying his name and position.

This card benefits from featuring three HOFers. Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker was a Puerto Rican professional baseball right fielder who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his early death, he was posthumously inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973, becoming both the first Caribbean and the first Latin-American player to be enshrined. Because he died at a young age and had such a historic career, the Hall of Fame changed its rules of eligibility. As an alternative to a player having to be retired for five years before eligibility, a player who has been deceased for at least six months is eligible for entry. Some of his many career highlights include being a 15 time All-Star, a 12 time Gold Glove winner, two time World Series Champion and an NL MVP in 1966. Henry Louis Aaron, nicknamed "Hammer" or "Hammerin' Hank", was an American professional baseball right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), from 1954 through 1976. One of the greatest baseball players in history, he spent 21 seasons with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves in the National League (NL) and two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers in the American League (AL). Some of his many career highlights include being a 25 time All-Star, three time Gold Glove Winner and was an MVP and World Series Champ in 1957. Some all-time MLB records he possesses are the all-time RBI, Total Bases and Extra Base hit records and was the home run champ for a number of years. Hank Aaron was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. Willie Howard Mays Jr. , nicknamed "the Say Hey Kid" and "Buck", is a former center fielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). Regarded as one of the greatest players ever, Mays ranks second behind only Babe Ruth on most all-time lists, including those of The Sporting News and ESPN. Mays played in the National League (NL) between 1951 and 1973 for the New York/San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. Some of his many career achievements include being a 25 time All-Star, 12 time Gold Glove Winner, two time MVP, Rookie Of The Year and World Series Champion. Willie Mays was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1979.
