Item Description
Three distinct series of baseball cards were issued in 1967 by Topps to be distributed in Venezuela. Cards #1-138, including the example offered here, feature players currently active in the country's Winter League. Card size varies but is somewhat smaller than the standard-size of the era. Card fronts have posed photos. Backs include short bio. Many cards from this series found today are in lesser condition w/back damage from album removal being the primary culprit.
Robert Joe Cox is an American former professional baseball third baseman and manager in Major League Baseball. Some career highlights include being a four time Manage of the Year, Atlanta Brave No. 6 retired, two time World Series champion and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
