6-1/8x12" printer's proof sheet featuring full color cover for Whitman #1140 BLB, ©1937. Cover art features great image of Tyler standing in front of adult elephant carrying baby elephant w/its trunk while back cover features black panther leaping out of wagon at man. Small hole punched at left/right center for printer purposes and printer's color code at bottom. Sheet is evenly aged and has some slight handling wear, but VF overall. Proof sheets for BLBs are rarely seen. An interesting rarity for the BLB collector.
