Item Description
3x5-3/8". Unused and with reverse flap unsealed. Issuer on left margin "G.M. Whipple & A.A. Smith Salem, Mass." Lincoln stirs paper in a funnel placed in a large crock reading "Pure Refined National Elixir Of Liberty." Largest poster on right wall reads "Lincoln's Renowned Rebel Exterminator Warranted Not To Spoil In Warm Climates." Other details include sealed glass jars holding tiny hanging deceased figures of "Jeff Davis" and "Beau" on shelf next to a shelf at upper left with caption "Preserved Grape In Canisters." Below, a beaker with a curved neck holds paper reading "Slavery-ARK-Texas-Virginia-Baltimore." Great graphics with many additional captions. Our first with mounting stains exceeded $500.00 in auction 191. Second seen and Essentially Mint.
