Item Description
16-1/8x22.75" cardboard store display w/perforated, die-cut sections, each designed to hold toy watch that has removable 2.75" long trucks - each in same design, just different colors - w/"Safari 4WD" labels on sides. Each truck transforms into robot. Display card has large "Transformers" name across top, despite being unlicensed. Made in Spain by Pilen as part of their Artec line, c. mid-1980s. Back of display "cards" has illustrated instructions for transforming toys as well as using their pull-back friction motors. Bottom third of display has detached along perforated lines and display shows some scattered corner tip wear w/small spots of staining where robots rubber tires touched card. Display includes 10 toy watches w/bases that match the nine included "Transformers. Additional one watch base does not come w/robot and two perforated cards at top center have neither watches or robots. Toys are Exc. Unusual Spanish issue that capitalized on the popularity of Hasbro's Transformers toyline.
