Item Description
3.5x5.5". This postcard series was produced by a Canton, Ohio knife company and closely resembles the 1910 PC796 sepia postcards series except that these display ornate borders surrounding the player portrait or action pose. This issue was originally catalogued as a 1907-09 series but recent research has uncovered a correct release date of 1910. Back is unused, front image is bold and sharp.
Art Devlin was an American athlete and coach. He is best known for his Major League Baseball career from 1904 to 1913. As a player, he led the NL in stolen bases in 1905 and was part of the World Series Champion New York Giants that same year. This copy is one of only five examples ever graded by PSA.
