Item Description
1.5x2.75". The 1909 E101 "Set of 50" baseball set is very similar to the E92 - Nadja, Croft's, Dockman, etc. sets of the same year. The cards have the same images as the E92 sets with each card featuring a full-color art rendering of a player photograph, usually in-action, set against a multi-color background. A white border with his last name, position, home city and league printed at the bottom frames each player's image. (The same pool of art was utilized by a number of brands.) The backs, however, are anonymous with "no advertising" with "This card Is One Of A Set Of 50 Base Ball Players - Prominent Members Of The National And American Leagues" printed on a creamy paper stock.

William Alexander O'Hara was a Major League Baseball outfielder. He started his professional baseball career in 1902 and played for the Baltimore Orioles from 1905 to 1908. He then played in the National League for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals before finishing his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
