Item Description
22x28.5" thin cardboard poster advertises Sept. 29, 1979 concert at the Cassel Estate, "On Old Hwy. 90 - - - 1/2-Mile West Of Waelder, Tex." Advertised as "A Blues Picnic," concert was headlined by Southern soul singer Joe Tex (1935-1982) and features his name in large text w/insert photo portrait of the R&B star alongside his 1976/77 singles "'Ain't Gonna Bump No More'" and "'Love Shortage'." Poster was printed by Globe Posters of Baltimore, MD. Poster is evenly aged and shows some scattered edge/corner tip wear w/creasing at lower left and tiny dent to top left edge. Fine/VF overall.
