Original first release 30x40" poster, printed by 20th Century Fox using the exact same printing plate as used for the Star Wars 27x41" one-sheet movie poster, including the "One Sheet - Style A" designation at lower right w/"774-21". NSS number to the right of that w/"Star Wars" name below NSS number. As the original printing plate was designed for a taller, 41" tall one-sheet size, these 30x40" posters often have the "Star Wars" name and tiny NSS text at bottom center partially obscured or entirely missing. The example offered here includes partial text. Iconic art by Tom Jung features more preliminary design of C-3PO. Poster was never folded but was stored in a loose roll, resulting in some rippling to poster. Scattered lt. edge wear w/crease at upper left and some faint ink transfer at bottom. Fine overall, but would make for a wonderful framed display.
