Large and impressive poster issued for the original Italian release of Star Wars; issued in two pieces w/an overall size of 55x77". Featuring classic art by Tom Jung, poster shows Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and C-3PO (in a more preliminary design) and large image of Darth Vader in bkg. w/X-Wings attacking the Death Star at left. ©1977 Twentieth Century Fox. "Guerre Stellari" title across bottom. Poster is folded as issued and has .75" thin tear/pull at lower left margin w/pin hole at lower right margin. Poster has some scattered lt. handling wear, top/bottom left fold crease intersections have small splits and title has small spot of staining. Fine/VF overall, but still very nice for display. This massive poster is a real show-stopper and one of the most impressive Star Wars display items.
